    Management Team

    The Eluceda management team consists of the following experienced people who have a strong commercial or inventive backgrounds:-

    Matthew Harte, Managing Director

  • Matthew has many years experience of managing some high technology businesses through substantial growth and development. In particular Matthew was Managing Director at Biocote, a leading branded antimicrobial company and COO of Protomed, a medicine management business.
  • Dr. Ian Eastwood, Technical Director

  • Ian completed his PhD at the University of Kent in Canterbury on microbial genetics before becoming a lecturer in Biochemistry at the University of Wales, Bangor. He has worked for ICI in Biocides, Biocode and CTO in Authentix Brand Protection technologies. He has developed security features that are present in several legal tenders around the world and he was responsible for developing significant technology platforms.

Brandon Barnett, Finance Director/CFO

  • Brandon was a founding director and shareholder in Eluceda Limited. Since qualifying with Deloitte and moving into industry he has worked with a number of SMEs; helping them with financial controls, fundraising, tax planning and in a number of cases working with the owner managers to dispose of the business. He is a commercially experienced finance professional.

The Scientists

Dr. Mark Saw

  • Mark has worked with small molecules throughout a 17 year career, from a PhD in structural biology through roles manipulating bacterial enzymes, to Authentix and Eluceda with detection of hard to find, unique taggants in difficult sample matrices. Mark has also worked with business networks, coordinating and promoting collaboration and successfully acquired funding from InnovateUK for a series of innovative technologies. Protein modification and its practical uses have been the focus of his career.

Adam Corbally

  • Adam graduated from the University of Leeds with a degree in genetics before going on to work for the NHS as a scientist at Leeds teaching hospital and St James University Hospital. He has been working for Eluceda since 2010 on a wide variety of projects.
