Business Development Manager,

North America

Scope of the Role:

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to develop new sales of our proprietary taggant and related reader technology, as well as delivering sales of new products including our patented E-Sens™ in-product authentication platform

The major focus of this role is to drive growth in the Product & Brand Authentication Sector in North America and will involve selling directly to manufacturers, brand owners and supporting supply chain stakeholders.

The Candidate:

You will need to have a technical, engineering or scientific background, with a track record of delivering sales growth through supplying solutions to blue chip brand owners and manufacturers, ideally including an element of software as part of the overall solution.

Technical knowledge of inks/printing processes and key account management experience would be beneficial, but as a self-starting “hunting” role, self-motivation, tenacity and creativity are just as important.

Given the size and multi-site nature of the business you have to be able to work in a multi-disciplinary team and have the ability to work with people on different sites.

Requirements:

• Selling our range of proprietary taggant, readers and delivery systems.
• Developing sales of our in-product E-Sens™ Biosensor technology, with a focus on delivering high value long term sales contracts.
• Sales retention through strong relationship management.
• Identification, recommendation and management of sales partners.
• Close liaison with the technology function to provide a high level of technical support to our customers.

Requirements:

You will be Home Office based (unless you happen to be located near to one of our sites) and will be expected to travel across North America, so a valid driving licence is essential.
