An exciting opportunity to join Eluceda, a small tech company with a significant body of IP and ambitious growth plans headquartered in Burnley, Lancashire. With sites in York, North Yorkshire and Washington state (USA), the company has two distinct technologies that serve three markets, Product & Brand Authentication, Chemical & Biological Detection and Diagnostics. Eluceda’s mission is to enable organisations to protect health, and revenues through the rapid detection of organisms and small molecules.
The applicant should be an excellent communicator, enthusiastic, highly organised, literate and numerate with good attention to detail. The successful candidate needs to be confident and able to prioritise workload and operate on their own initiative. Since Eluceda is a small, busy company, you will need to be able to cope with minimum day to day direction and be able to recognise the needs of the company without being explicitly told to enable the teams around you to work as efficiently as possible. It would be beneficial if the applicant had experience of self-management and relevant job duties. Ideal working hours 10-3pm.
Order Management and Processing
o Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
o Order processing, packing and shipping
o Customs clearance administration
o Stock Control and Inventory management
o Procurement/Purchasing of goods/equipment and services as needed for the Eluceda team.
Production planning
o Liaising with production team to ensure orders are delivered in line with customer expectations
o Pro-actively ensuring stock levels monitored to ensure efficiency
o Communicating with materials suppliers and vendors.
Customer Support
o Interacting with clients either on the phone or in person.
o Initial handling of queries from customers
o Assisting with minor technical support.
o Providing office support including customer and employee support.
Administration
o Keeping well-organised files and records of business activity.
o Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
o Foster a positive work environment and address employee concerns in a timely and effective manner.
o Keeping computer databases up to date.
o Creation of Purchase Orders and Invoices.
o Other Administrative tasks as may be required
