Scope of Role


Eluceda is a high-tech company with a significant body of IP and ambitious growth plans headquartered in Burnley, Lancashire (UK) and sites in York, North Yorkshire (UK) and Washington State (US). Serving Blue Chip customers in three main markets, Product & Brand Authentication, Chemical & Biological Testing and In Vitro Diagnostics, Eluceda’s mission is to enable organisations to protect health and revenues through the rapid detection of small molecules.


The Candidate

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Project Manager to join our expanding team who will support us in delivering our varying technologies to existing and new customers. This will include our current proprietary taggant and related reader family, our patented E-Sens™ in-product authentication products as well as our IT software and backend systems.


The major focus of this role is supporting the sales team to deliver our technology in full and on time to our customers. It will require extensive liaison between external customers, our suppliers, and our internal R&D resource. The ability to drive and deliver technology programmes is key to this role and significant on the job product training will be provided.


Successful applicants will have a good level of IT literacy and demonstrate the ability to deliver projects on time from a multi-disciplinary team. The ability to motivate and drive others in the delivery of our systems is crucial. Tenacity and creativity are equally important combined with strong organisational skills, time management of yourself and others, and attention to detail.


Given the size and multisite nature of the business, you have to be able to work with people in different locations and continents. A level of technical knowledge and/or operations experience will be an advantage in this role.


Key Competencies


  • Manage key projects, liaising with technical, commercial and operations to deliver products and technology for our customers
  • Be the first line of support for our key customers
  • Support commercial sales activities
  • Develop and build relationships with our key customers and partners
  • Liaise and work collaboratively with subject matter experts within R&D and define projects/objectives
  • Work closely with the delivery team to improve processes within the business
  • Liaise with external contractors on various projects


Requirements

  • You will be based at our Burnley HQ but also expected to travel to customers and potential customers for meetings.
  • This will include the UK and international travel, so a driving licence is essential.
  • This role reports to the Head of Technical Delivery but will require close working with the Commercial Director.
